THERE IS NO TIME LIKE THE PRESENT
As the old adage goes, "There is no time like the present" and 'presently' I am tired of "kicking against the goads" (Acts 26:14 various translations/versions.)
For clarity, I am not talking about "...the futility of resisting God's will."
Rather, I am tired of reaching out to God Haters and those who are half-heartedly following Christ.
I am tired of those who have itching ears to hear what appeals to their carnal nature, instead of "The Gospel Truth" which is the concept of truth and the good news (gospel) as is stated by Christ Jesus, and is recorded in John 8:32.
People who are hard-hearted and thick-headed, have resisted God since time immemorial (a time in the past that was so long ago that people have no knowledge or memory of it).
Some Examples: Isaiah 6:10, Jeremiah 5:21, Ezekiel 12:2, Matthew 13:15, Acts 28:27, Romans 11:8
So, does this mean I am never going to reach out ever again -- via any and all means open to me -- to share the truth about the fallen nature of those who are spiritually broken and in need of God's healing touch on their heart and life?
NO.
It means that I am feeling frustrated like Christ was when He came back down from 'The Mountain of Transfiguration'.
"O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you?"
